Living in an RV on the road is tricky for a number of reasons. We like our space and quiet so we don’t usually stay in rv parks or campgrounds. That leaves public lands and during winter, that means the SW region. While we wait for the real spring to happen we are in Sonoita for a couple weeks. The issue the last couple days has been wind. It’s warm enough out for shorts and a tshirt but the wind has been whipping pretty good.
Today the forecast was for gusts up to 45 so after a relaxing morning of coffee and pancakes, followed by my daily stretches/yoga, we lounged about and then headed into “town” to check out Copper Brothel Brewery. The building itself is gorgeous and I should have snapped some photos of it. Tuesday they are only open 11-4 and at 1 they were hopping. We chose seats at the bar and ordered a couple IPA’s and then followed those up with a Vanilla Porter and a Dunklefest.
If you’re in the area Copper Brothel is worth checking out. All the beers are named after women and pay homage to the world’s oldest profession through craft beer. The day we were there they were doing also doing a hefty business in margaritas (pomegranate seemed to be the favorite., So if beer isn’t your thing do know that you have options. As we chatted with the bartender I learned that all the artwork for the beers and the posters on the walls is created by a previous local who is now a tattoo artist up in Tucson.

It’s 65 degrees here at 5:00 so I can’t complain about that. Plus, there are baby cows roaming around outside in the tall grasses. Spring is here folks, hold on tight.
