About Us

We are Derek and Heidi Faller, and we live in a trailer. Who needs lawns to mow, multiple rooms to keep clean, and places to put all your stuff? Not us. Our house has wheels and we are going to drive it all over America. Why? Because as much as we have tried, working 40 hour plus work weeks until we turn 65 isn’t for us. We love mountain biking, traveling and exploring and decided to ditch the normal life for an RV.

We met in San Diego and were married in 1999. Even though we had full time jobs, most of our free time was spent riding and racing mountain bikes. Through the bike racing we got to travel a lot around the country and see and ride in new places. We eventually decided that San Diego was not the best place for us and packed up and moved to Bend Oregon in 2004. Bend is great, it has everything we were looking for, good and close mountain bike trails, great camping options, beautiful scenery. But after 14 years even good things wear out their excitement and we need a change. Since we didn’t know where to go next we decided to spend some time traveling around America looking for cool new places. This is when we created our plan to be full time RVers.

So we are leaving our home in Bend, Oregon and hitting the road with our mountain bikes, paddles boards, hiking shoes, cameras and whatever else we can fit in our 200 square foot trailer and see what we can find as we travel across America.
