Moore Mountain isn’t new to us, we rode here back in 2018 but there are new trails and it’s a really fun area to ride in so we spent a couple hours mountain biking. I think Trailforks lists something like 41 miles of trails and it’s a maze so the app is helpful.
The park itself is just off the lake in Klamath Falls and it’s beautiful! We found a good loop of trails to check out some new to us stuff. The trails range everywhere from beginner to advanced so everyone can find something to suit their ability. We rode a zig zag of trails and some of my favorites were Big Sky, Junker, and Rat Camp. We were there on a weekday and didn’t see any other riders but a weekend would definitely be busy.
I liked the Tunnel Vision trail for all the trees. I tried to research and I think they were the Klamath plum. It would be awesome to see them all in bloom. Lava rock is present at the higher parts and some of the trails have some good rock gardens to test your skills. The coolest part about the network is the lake views. It’s worth climbing to the top to see beautiful Klamath Lake.
