For being kind of remote, the trails at Rademacher Hills in Ridgecrest are fantastic. It’s pretty much just a locals thing and we found excellent riding that isn’t even on Trailforks. We’ve ridden here once before and it was nice to find new stuff.
The trails out here are probably best rated as beginner to intermediate. We didn’t ride anything too technical, just lots of nice ridge line trails. It reminded me a lot of my old SoCal racing days. I liked the really flowy downhills off the ridge. I liked it enough that we rode here two different days. If you’re passing through the area on a trip and need to break up the drive, stop and ride here.
