After the small snowfall in the mountains east of Vegas, we waited a few days for the trails to dry out. We still got muddy. The Cowboy Trails aren’t new to us, we rode her back in one of our first years traveling full time…here’s that post.
It was a brisk morning and the parking lot was mostly full of side by sides. They stick to all the dirt roads out there so you don’t have to worry about them on the trails. The singletrack on this side of the highway is easier than those at the Late Night TH across the way. This is pure cross country with nothing too technical. Lots of high speeds on the 3 Mile Smile Trail and the flow is great.
We did have to wash the bikes after. That’s one of the things you have to think of when you live full time in an rv. We don’t have an unlimited source of water like houses (unless we’re somewhere with hookups). So, water is an extra precious commodity. Really, it should be to everyone of course. 🙂
