Sweetwater Preserve is a great mountain bike option if you’re up for a couple hours of trail riding. There isn’t a lot out there, but if you get creative you can put connect all the trails and get a decent ride in. Be warned though, this is pretty popular with hikers so depending when you go, you could have company. We found weekdays in the afternoon the best.
What I like about these trails is you’re never far from the start, there are great views, and all the riding is interesting. The trail builders really used the terrain well when they created this network and I like the little technical sections as well as the fast flowy bits. Everything out here is easy or intermediate rated, though some of the intermediate may require a bit of walking if you’re not comfortable.
Enjoy!
