The last week we spent in Lake Havasu was fun. It would have been more fun if it had been a little bit warmer and we could get in the water, but it was still fun. We met some old and new friends here that are also doing the full time RV thing, and got some good advice. It is now time for us to say goodbye to Lake Havasu for now. There is a large firework and pyrotechnic convention and show going on the next two days here. While it would be fun to see, Fletcher is terrified of loud noises and fireworks. So we are heading out.
Our next stop is going to be Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument after a quick stop-over at Saddle Mountain by Phoenix. We have never been there, but it looks pretty. There seem to be a lot of hikes there, so we should be able to do quite a bit of exploring. The national monument is however in the middle of nowhere next to the Mexico border. So, I don’t know if we will have cell service there or not to do blog posts. If not it may be a week or two before we get somewhere we can post from. Don’t get worried if you don’t hear from us for a bit.
Thanks Derek for letting us know what’s up if we don’t hear from you for a while. Be careful down there next to the Mexican border.
