August is already here and there is so much to do! I’ve been riding a lot in the afternoon/evenings. The other evening I got caught in a quick downpour and it was heavenly. The smell of rain in the forest always delights me. Actually, the smell of rain anywhere is a treat.
The other day Derek and I hiked from Mazama Village up the Annie Creek Spur Trail to the PCT and then up Dutton Creek. It’s wildflower season and we found plenty blooming. After the recent rains several of the creeks were still running and it was all around a nice hike.
Amazing pics!
Thanks Andi! Obviously it’s even better in person.
